According to detail, Pakistani forces were attacked by an armed group in two different cities of Balochistan.

A check post of Pakistan army situated at Manguli in Mashkay, was attacked by armed men on Thursday night.

The second attack took place on Friday morning in Jhaoo area was an ambush on a patrolling convoy of Pakistan army. According to local sources, Pakistani forces have received heavy casualties in both the attacks. Whereas, military officials have not confirmed the attacks yet.

Meanwhile, a pro-independence armed group; Balochistan Liberation Front, or BLF spokesman, Major Gwahram Baloch claimed responsibility for the attacks on Pakistani military in Jhaoo and Mashkay.

Gwahram Baloch said in a statement to the media that, last night Sarmachaars (fighters) attacked the Manguli check post in Mashkay Valley with snipers and heavy weapons, killing three army personnel and injuring one.

Accepting responsibility for another attack, Maj Baloch said; “A Pakistani army patrol team was ambushed with automatic heavy weapons by Sarmachaars (fighters) at Nondara area of Jhaoo at 8 am on Friday. The attack took place while a group of ten on-foot army personnel were advancing towards Daraj Khaor (river). In the fierce ambush, four army personnel were killed on the spot and two others were injured.”

“These attacks will continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan,” the spokesperson added.
