Mama Qadeer Baloch, the Vice-Chairman of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, said that the “oppressor” is employing “inhumane” strategies to squelch the “peaceful Baloch struggle” and to intensify its “illegal and unconstitutional occupation” of Balochistan. He said that approximately 2000 people have been victimized under the state’s “kill-and-dump” policy.
Sitting in VBMP’s makeshift protest tent pitched in front of the Quetta Press Club, Mama Qadeer said that the attacks on the Baloch houses by the forces have become commonplace throughout Balochistan. He said that the systematic target killing of the Baloch students is in full swing; women are suffering confinement in prisons and many have been killed by the forces. All of this is happening per the state policy, he said.
Mama Qadeer said the Baloch are confined in dungeons and killed in broad daylight, whereas the culprits, despite all their cruelties, are exempted from punishment.
He said that the state institutions have no right to use our money and resources for buying munitions and weaponry and then using them against us.
