Eid-ul-Fitr has been named after the missing persons. All workers should celebrate Eid with simplicity.
According to a statement issued by BSO Pajjar’s central organizer Zubair Baloch, organization has directed all the members to celebrate Eid with utmost simplicity.
According to the spokesperson, BSO Pajjar has dedicated the Eid to political prisoners of Balochistan who have been detained for years.
The spokesperson said that all the zones and units should express solidarity with the families of the ‘missing persons’ on this auspicious occasion of Eid and celebrate Eid with them.
Whereas, The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) for the safe release of forcefully disappeared persons has completed 3967th day of its continues protest.
VBMP in its earlier statement announced that the protest will continue on Eid as well.
VBMP was formed by the families of missing persons to raise voice against forceful disappearances in Balochistan, allegedly by Pakistani security forces. VBMP has organized numerous events, protests and rallies, including a long walk from Quetta to Karachi and then to Islamabad.
As per VBMP, as many as 45,000 Baloch men, women and children have been disappeared, who are languishing in torture cells.
VBMP also alleges that at least 5,000 missing persons have been killed and dumped over last one decade.
