An armed attack on a house in Panjgur district of Balochistan, killed 3 persons
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, about two dozen gunmen attacked the house of a man named Naghman, in Gawargo Tehsil of Panjgur, late night on Monday.
Three man were killed in the attack and one was captured alive.
According to Levies sources, the house was set on fire due to intense firing, use of RPG and other firearms which also damaged the house.
A pro-independence Baloch militant group, Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS) has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
Baloch Khan, the spokesperson for BRAS said in a statement that “BRAS fighters raided a hideout in Haithek Dan-e-Sar area of Panjgur, when they received a tip-off and subsequently targeted the personnel of a so-called Death Squad group runs under state patronage”
Baloch Khan stated that “the so-called death squad chief, Rahemdil alias Khalil s/o Yar Mohammed, including Mohammad Sadiq s/o Adam and Naseem Faqir were killed in the attack, while Yasir s/o Faqir Mohammed was arrested by BRAS fighters, who had surrendered in front of Pakistan army some time ago. During the operation, fighters seized the weapons of the death squad personnel and their vehicle was destroyed.
The spokesman further added that the attack was a continuation of BRAS’ ongoing operation ‘Aas-rech’, purpose of which is to specifically target and wipe-out the Death Squad groups of criminals constituted by the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies.
BRAS is a coalition of four Baloch armed groups, known as BLA, BLF, BRA and BRG. The group is known for its massive attacks on Pakistan Army and other security forces. BRAS has claimed multiple deadly attacks on Pakistani forces in the past.
