Another youngster goes missing from Hub city of Balochistan on Wednesday.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Pakistani security forces raided a house and whisked away a young man named Maqbool s/o Yar Jan Mohammaed Hasni, resident of Mashkay.
Maqbool along with his family had moved to Hub city due to the devastated situation in his home town Mashkay, and neighboring cities.
It is pertinent to mention that thousands of families have migrated from Balochistan to Sindh, Afghanistan and other foreign countries due to the ongoing insurgency for at least two decades in Balochistan.
During the 2000s, Balochistan witnessed a fresh wave of insurgency and nationalism, and government forces were alleged to rely on what analysts called ‘fascist methods’ where political activists, student leaders and tribal heads were forcibly disappeared as a counter-insurgency tactic.
According to Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), the campaign group by families of victims, more than 40,000 Baloch men, women, and children are under Pakistani custody.
VBMP also alleges that at least 5,000 missing persons have been killed and dumped over last one decade.
