The bomb went off when the convoy of tribal chief was passing by.
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, two guards and the tribal chief were injured in a bomb blast today in the border town of Chaman.
Chaman is situated at the border of Balochistan and Afghanistan and had witnessed several incidents of bomb blasts this year.
A bomb planted near Baghra Road went off when the convoy of Haji Bawal Ashizai, the tribal chief, was passing by. As a result, Ashizai along with his two guards were injured, who were rushed to the nearby hospital, where they were declared out of danger.
Security forces had cordoned off the area after the attack and until the last report, a search operation as underway in the area.
Whereas, no group has claimed the responsibility.
