Baloch National Movement (BNM) Greece held a protest demonstration in Athens against ‘atrocities committed by Pakistani army in Balochistan’ on Sunday.

Talking to the media the protestors said that “since the occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan in 1948, its army is engaged in brutal operations to suppress Baloch nation”.

According to BNM, the protest aimed to highlight the recent attacks of Pakistani forces on Baloch women and children and their abduction. “A number of Baloch women and innocent children have been abducted by Pakistani army in different parts of Balochistan and are kept under incommunicado detention” BNM alleged.

BNM urged that “it is high time for the world powers to act against Pakistan and support the movement of Balochistan’s independence”.
