At least one person was killed, one was injured and three others were abducted as unknown assailants targeted a convoy of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) near Washuk, Balochistan.
According to local TBP correspondent, unknown assailants opened fire from nearby mountains on a convoy of BAP, the ruling party of Balochistan, killing at least one. Another person was also injured, whereas, three other were reported missing after the attack.
The convoy was travelling to Pushtkoh in Washuk to participate in by-elections.
At least one persons was killed on the spot, another sustained injuries while three others were abducted by the assailants.
The local administration confirmed the incident. However, Deputy Commission of Washuk, Mohammad Jan Baloch, said that only one person was taken away by the assailants.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, however, Baloch armed groups continuously target people affiliated with state and authorities.
