BLA has claimed the responsibility of combined attack with BLF on a convoy of BAP members.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) a Baloch pro-freedom armed group has taken the responsibility of a joint attack with Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) another Baloch armed group, on a convoy of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in Washuk area of Balochistan.

Earlier today unknown assailants opened fire from nearby mountains on a convoy of BAP, the ruling party of Balochistan, killing at least one. Another person was also injured, whereas, one person was reported missing after the attack.

The convoy was travelling to Pushtkoh in Washuk to participate in by-elections.

The local administration had also confirmed the incident.

Jeehand Baloch, spokesperson of BLA said in the statement that BLA and BLF fighters attacked the armed convoy of BAP today, who under the supervision of Pakistani Army, were going to force Baloch civilians against their will to participate in elections.

“One person died another received injuries whereas one named Qadir Bakhsh was captured alive in the attack”, he confirmed.

“BLA takes the responsibility of this attack with BLF and such attacks will continue until the independence of Balochistan”, Jeehand Baloch added.
