Two more went missing after being arrested by Pakistani forces during a raid on Saturday in Kech district taking the totals of two days to ten.
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, two men were picked up by Pakistani forces during an early morning raid in Tump town of Kech district on Saturday.
Our correspondent received the identification of abductees as Walid S/O Lal Bakhsh and Shah Daad.
This follows yesterday’s multiple arrests when during a search operation, security forces picked up 8 men, who were identified as Latif S/O Fakir Bakhsh, Sawali S/O Ahmed, Babul S/O Muhammad, Washdil S/O Bujair, Daad Bakhsh S/O karim, Waqar Ahmed and Arz Muhammad.
All the missing persons were residents of the Jamk town in Kech district.
Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. However, recent instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
