A blast in the Chaman city of Balochistan on Sunday claimed one life and left nine others injured, including three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel.
According to police, the blast took place near an under-construction DPO office on Mall Road.
The unidentified assailants allegedly targeted a vehicle carrying the Frontier Corps personnel with an IED, The Balochistan Post’s correspondent reported.
The improvised explosive devices was planted on a motorbike parked on the road.
In the blast, at least 10 persons, including a child, were wounded, whereas, one person lost his life.
Police and law enforcement agencies reached the scene, cordoned off the area and launched investigations.
The injured were taken to the hospital while the site of the blast has been sealed by the Police, Levies and Frontier Corps officials.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
