Three more men went missing after being arrested at the hands of security forces across Balochistan.
The list of ‘Missing Persons’ continue to grow as more people continue to be picked up across Balochistan.
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, three men have been picked up by security forces from different towns of Balochistan on Eid day, family members claim.
In an early morning raid, a man namely Bahot s/o Peer Muhammad was picked up by the security forces in Hoshab town of Kech district. Who was later moved to an undisclosed location.
Another man, namely Washdil s/o Maqsood was picked up from his house by security forces in Kolowah town of Kech district, and his whereabouts are also unknown.
People picked up by secret agencies and para-military forces are called ‘Missing Persons’ in Pakistan, as the arrested are not presented before the court of law and instead kept in military camps.
In other news, a man was picked up by the forces from Kulanch town of Pasni, who was later identified as Akhtar s/o Ragaam Baloch.
Enforced disappearances that started in the early 2000s have never slowed down in Balochistan, in fact, dramatic surge has been observed in the number of people going missing with each coming year.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the culprits of these illegal abductions.
