According to the details received by the Balochistan post, Pakistan army is ‘forcefully’ re-locating the local population of ‘Laindki’ village of Awaran district.
While sharing information with our reporter, a local told TBP that army has given us an ultimatum of two days to leave the village, they are forcing people to sit in trucks, which are carrying people to areas near the army camp.
“They have even used force against women and children”, said the local.
Awaran is the home district of Dr Allah Nazar, the leader of an armed group, Balochistan Liberation Front, which has been up in arms against Pakistani Army.
Both sides have often showed military might against each other. Locals allege that during military operations they are forced to empty their villages.
Campaign groups have accused Pakistani forces of human rights violation during military operations in Balochistan.
