Khuzdar: Schools face scarcity of water.

The scarcity of water has hit schools in khuzdar dist of Balochistan.

According to the details received by the Balochistan post, students in “Bhallonk” village of Dist. khuzdar walk a mile on foot every day to fetch water from the nearby stream for the school. Students repeat this pattern every day before the commencement of classes, which is causing a hindrance in their education.

It is worth mentioning that previous Govt had declared education emergency to improve the condition of schools in Balochistan, albeit, nothing seems to have been done for the schools like Bhallonk village, which are operating in worst conditions.

While talking with our reporter, locals urged the government to take immediate notice of their school and provide them at least the basic facilities, so that their children can continue their education.
