The two most active armed groups of Balochistan, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) have claimed responsibility for different attacks on Pakistani security forces and alleged ‘abettors’.

According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Jeehand Baloch, the Spokesman of BLA claimed responsibility for the attack that was carried out against Security forces personnel guarding construction of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) roads in Keelkor, Panjgur on Thursday morning.

According to Jeehand, two personnel of Pakistani forces were killed and five others received injuries in the attack on patrol parties of Pakistani army. ‘At least one vehicle was completely destroyed’, he claimed.

Jeehand Baloch said that there are some elements in Panjgur who are abetting state forces against Baloch interests. He warned that such individuals will be targeted if they do not shun their activities.

On the other hand, BLF also claimed responsibilities for two attacks.

According to organisation’s spokesman Goharam Baloch, fighters of BLF attacked an outpost of Pakistani forces in Jhao, Awaran with RPGs and other heavy weapons.

Goharam Baloch said that Pakistani forces were once attacked in another area, when they tried to chase BLF fighters. ‘A rocket hit an armored Pakistani vehicle and completely destroyed it, he claimed.

Goharam Baloch said that BLF fighters also killed a state abettor and member of a local death squad, Mulla Muhammad Qasim in Jhao, Awaran.

He alleged that Mulla Qasim was involved in enforced disappearances of Baloch civilians.
