Attacks on Baloch Students

Showaz baloch

Few months ago more than 100 Baloch students were detained by Punjab police in Lahore and some among them were brutally tortured and beaten by a student group which is secretly working on the agenda of Pakistani Army and Agencies.

Instead of arresting the goons who perpetrated the brutalities against peaceful Baloch students the attackers were supported.

Baloch students come to these cities to get education but as historically it is proved every institution of the occupier has kept same behavior towards the occupied nation, same like Punjab university’s administration and Punjab police did with war effected Baloch students.

The students suffered several days in jails of Punjab police and the real criminals and culprits were awarded on their shameful act by the Punjab university’s administration.

Today every single Pakistani institution is working on an anti-Baloch agenda, whether they are in Balochistan or in Pakistan but they all are doing the same thing with Baloch which is their genocidal policy to beat, threat and force them to leave education.

In Balochistan and Sindh, where in cities like Karachi and Quetta students are being abducted on daily basis at the hands of Pakistani agencies. In interior Balochistan most of the schools and colleges have been occupied by the Pakistani army. These schools and colleges have been converted to military camps.

University of Balochistan is the only university in Balochistan where Baloch students have opportunity to get education but the condition of UOB resembles that of a military camp because the sports administration has totally been converted into a military camp and more then 5000 Army And FC soldiers are living there. The number of students is less then Army personnel.

Pakistani Army already has numerous military camps in Balohcistan but the Army personnel are kept in UOB and Bolan Medical College, which makes it clear that Pakistani forces in long run want Baloch to shun education for good.

Recently in Multan, another attack on Baloch students was carried out by the goons of Muslim Leage Student Federation, which is secretly working For Pakistani army and their intelligence agencies like ISI and MI. The severely beat the Baloch students. More than 5 students were brutally beaten and it is not the first time this has happened.

After Lahore the attacks in Multan confirm that these attacks are not mere scuffles between student groups but a well planned design to push away Baloch students from Punjab, which till now was the only safe place to get education.

However, the Baloch students should focus on getting education because without education we might get freedom but without education we will not be able to run a state which can be run by the educated class. Being a student I think this should be our most focused thing that how we can we somehow survive in institutions to get education, because state agents will clearly use more tactics like this to compel us to leave education but we have to be in institutions and continue our study.
