The protest was held against abduction of Baloch women and children by Pakistani Army from Balochistan and parts of Sindh. The protesters were carrying placards with slogans condemning Pakistani state brutalities against Baloch nation.

The protest was called after family members of Baloch leaders including wife of Dr. Allah Nazar, sister of Aslam Baloch, children of both families and other women were arrested by Pakistani security forces from Quetta. This followed earlier abduction of Baloch children from Karachi.

According to reports, a Bugti family also went missing from Kaccha area of Sindh.
