Sammi Deen Baloch, a prominent advocate for missing persons in Balochistan, has issued an emphatic plea to ‘oppressed’ nations worldwide. On the occasion of Eid ul Adha, she implored the ‘oppressed’ nations to stand together, empathize with one another, and continue their fight for justice. She emphasized the need for a united front against the ‘oppressors’ who perpetrate violence and injustice.

Taking to the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Sammi Deen Baloch, who serves as the general secretary of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), said that Eid ul Adha is a festival of joy and sacrifice across the Muslim world. Tragically, for the Baloch youth, this day has transformed into one of agony and sacrifice due to state-sponsored oppression, she said.

“Our youth,” she asserted, “are sacrificed through enforced disappearances and mutilated bodies, or they fall victim to the state’s relentless genocide of the Baloch people.”
