Quarantine center has been set up at the football stadium by the district administration in the wake of the Corona virus in Awaran district of Balochistan.

At the Center established today, 12 people including women and children have been quarantined.

DHO Dr. Noorbakhsh Bizenjo has visited and inspected the quarantine center today. Awaran is a city close to Panjgur and Kech district, near the Iran border but sadly not a single equipment is available in the whole district to diagnose the virus.

Regarding Corona-virus, while talking to the media, on Saturday, Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan said that the pilgrims returning from Iran were placed at the border due to the short notice. For such a big number of people, it wasn’t possible to arrange something in one day. Taftan is a desert where even electricity can’t reach from the national powerhouse, he said.

Chief Minister said that the people of Balochistan shouldn’t not leave their homes for 10 days for safety purposes. He also appealed that citizens should cooperate with national institutes and take precautionary measures.
