A bomb exploded near to a police van on Spini Road in Quetta city of Balochistan.

According to initial reports, one person was reported injured in the blast. As per the reports, police was the target of the attack.

After the blast, the forces cordoned off the area and the injured was shifted to a civil hospital by Edhi ambulance.

According to preliminary investigation, the explosion took place in a motorcycle but further investigation has been launched.

Authorities have not yet commented on the latest reports regarding the death or injury of police officers in the blast.

It should be noted that Spini Road is an area connected with Joint Road and Sabzal Road which makes it highly congested for traffic.
