Balochistan National Party’s leader Lashkari Raisani and Tahir Hazara of Hazara community visited the VBMP(Voice For Baloch Missing Persons) camp on Sunday.

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, after the emotional scenes emerging at a protest two days ago of Baloch women crying for the safe release of Baloch Missing Persons, political leaders and civil society members continue to visit the VBMP camp, set in front of Quetta press club, to show solidarity.

Lashkari Raisani, a leader of Balochistan National Party, visited the camp and raised several questions for the higher authorities. He said that people in the camp were not sitting for something illegal but for legal rights, and they want a fair trial for their loved ones under Pakistan’s constitution.

“Country is facing a crisis, but they are busy crowd-funding for a dam, if they cannot produce our missing persons, they can at least tell us who among the missing persons have been killed and dumped on the roadsides”, added Raisani

Tahir Hazara, an outspoken leader of Hazara Community, was also present at the camp.

“How can so many men and women go missing in Balochistan and no one has any idea about their whereabouts? If it is a state that we live in, then it has to prove its writ and produce the missing persons, and if not, then they must accept that it is a failed state”, said Mr Hazara.

Nasr Ullah Baloch of VBMP said that they want the help of civil society, politicians, national and international rights organizations to help them highligt the current grave conditions of human rights in Balochistan.

He reminded CM Balochistan Mr Jam Kamal, in his message that he has forgotten his promise to see the family members of missing Shabir Baloch, but five days have past and he still has not come to the camp.
