A person has died, whereas, two others have sustained injuries after a bomb went off in Dera Bugti, Balochistan.

According to TBP correspondent, a bomb blast killed one and injured two others in Murghanzai, Dera Bugti on Wednesday.

The killed and injured belonged to Bugti tribe and were identified as Tauk Ali Shah, who was killed in the incident, and Bhora Khan Bugti and his son, who sustained injuries.

According to local sources, the persons targeted in the IED blast belong to a local so-called ‘peace militia’, allegedly supported by the state forces.

The attack comes only two days after three other members of the ‘peace militia’ were killed by unknown armed persons on Sunday.

The responsibility for Sunday’s attack was claimed by a group called Baloch Liberation Tigers. However, no group has claimed responsibility for today’s attack.

Dera Bugti is one of the most restive regions of Balochistan as skirmishes between state forces and Baloch armed groups are a frequent happening in the gas-rich region.
