Two people were killed in a suspected drone strike in the Sohnda area of Zehri tehsil in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, local sources said.
Sources said the strike was carried out by Pakistani forces and that both individuals died at the scene.
The identities of those killed were not immediately confirmed.
Residents said Pakistani forces had carried out multiple drone and air strikes in Zehri in recent months, including a strike near Sohnda about a month ago that they said killed four people, among them two women.
They said that on September 15 last year, three civilians were killed in an air strike, while a drone attack on September 17 near Tarasani killed four people, including two women, and injured five others, among them a four-year-old child.
According to residents, another strike on October 1 in Noorgama killed four civilians near cotton fields, followed by air raids in Moola Pass on October 4 and 5 that killed six members of one family, including four children.
Pakistani authorities did not immediately comment on the strike.
