In Balochistan’s Kech district, a man has reportedly gone missing after being taken into custody by Pakistani security forces, while two men who had been missing for several months in Noshki have returned home.
According to local sources, security personnel detained a man identified as Bor Jan, son of Ghaus Bakhsh, in Zamuran Newano on 8 September. His whereabouts have remained unknown since his detention.
Meanwhile, two men from Noshki, Rasool Bakhsh Mengal and Suhail Ahmed, who had reportedly gone missing eight months ago, have rejoined their families after returning home.
The long-standing issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan has continued to draw concerns from human rights organisations.
