At least 16 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in 12 armed attacks across Balochistan. The attacks targeted military camps, checkpoints, and patrols in areas including Kech, Washuk, Panjgur, Gandawah, Dukki, Mastung, and Kohlu.

On Sunday, a camp of Pakistani forces in the Kadan area of Dasht, Kech, was attacked. The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) later claimed responsibility.

In a media statement, Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the BLF, said that ‘Sarmachars’ (fighters) surrounded the camp, blocking entry and exit routes before launching an assault with heavy weaponry.

The BLF spokesperson said that 16 Pakistani personnel, including an officer, were killed, and several others were injured.

The BLF also stated that reinforcements sent to the area were targeted. A senior BLF fighter, Lieutenant Jamal Baloch, was killed in the operation.

Separately, in Washuk district, unidentified attackers raided a Levies checkpoint in the Rakhshan area. They seized weapons and vehicles before setting the checkpoint on fire.

Meanwhile, in Panjgur, local sources reported an attack on a Pakistani forces’ camp, with witnesses hearing at least five explosions.

In another incident, attackers reportedly targeted a police checkpoint in Gandawah. In Dukki, armed individuals set construction machinery on fire along the Dukki to Chamalang road.

On Tuesday, three separate attacks targeted Pakistani forces in Mastung and Kech.

In Mastung, attackers opened fire on a checkpoint near Cadet College Cross, leading to an exchange of gunfire. In Kech, Pakistani forces’ camps in the Hoshab and Turbat areas were also attacked, with sources reporting casualties.

Following the Hoshab attack, security forces raided a local market, detaining two young men, according to local sources.

Later on Tuesday night, another attack targeted FC personnel in Mastung. Armed individuals reportedly opened fire near Madina Hotel in the Tull area of Khadkocha.

In Kohlu, a checkpoint in the Bebar area was also attacked, with sources reporting casualties.

Separately, in Kech’s Zamuran Sabuni area, unidentified attackers ambushed a Pakistani forces foot patrol.

Meanwhile, in Panjgur, unidentified individuals reportedly destroyed surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces in the Paroom Keelkaur area.

The BLF claimed responsibility for the Kadan, Kech attack, while other attacks remain unclaimed. Baloch armed groups have previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks in Balochistan.
