In the Kech district of Balochistan, Pakistani forces allegedly detained a man last night, who has since been reported as missing.
The missing individual has been identified as Sohrab Rahi, son of Master Asa Rahi.
According to reports, Pakistani forces conducted a raid last night in the Shahrak area of Kech. Around 2 a.m., a large contingent of forces surrounded the area, stormed the house, and, after severely beating his father and other family members, took Sohrab with them. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown, sources said.
In protest against the incident, Sohrab’s family and other residents have blocked the CPEC road at Shahrak.
Sohrab’s father stated, “My son was taken from our home by Pakistani forces,” prompting women in the area to protest by blocking the Turbat-Quetta highway at Shahrak.
The road closure has resulted in long lines of vehicles on both sides.
