In Balochistan’s coastal city of Gwadar, Pakistani security forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared four individuals. The detainees include Tariq s/o Murad Jan, Hakeem s/o Majeed, Muhammad Waheed s/o Ali Muhammad, and Nusrat s/o Abdul Rehman.

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), an organization advocating for an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan and the return of missing Baloch persons, has raised concerns about these incidents.

According to VBMP, Tariq and Hakeem were detained from Gwadar’s Hinglaaj area on May 23. The organization demanded their immediate release, along with the release of all other missing Baloch persons.

Similarly, on May 22, Pakistani forces detained Muhammad Waheed and Nusrat from Gwadar. Both individuals are reportedly residents of Gwadar’s Kalanach area and are involved in the oil business.
