Three people, including a levies officer, were killed and three others injured in several incidents of shooting in Balochistan, as per reports.

In Awaran, Naib Risaldar Levies Force Barkat Ali Sajidi s/o Elahi Bakhsh Sajidi, resident of Pirandar Awaran, was shot dead. According to Levies, Barkat Ali Sajidi was sitting alone in his car when his colleague allegedly shot him ‘accidentally’ with a Kalashnikov. The bullet reportedly hit him on the head, killing him on the spot.

The body was taken to DHQ Hospital Awaran where it was handed over to the heirs after necessary action. Levies sources told the media that the department is investigating the matter further

Meanwhile, another incident of shooting took place in Buleda area of Kech, in which a person named Dost Mohammad was killed on the spot. Reports suggest that the aforementioned person was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. However, the motive for the incident has not yet been revealed

In another similar development, a passerby was killed and two Anti-Terrorism personnel (ATF) alomg with a levies were injured in an encounter with alleged robbers in Manguchar area of Kalat district. The exchange of fire was still underway till last reports.

The deceased has been identified as Dawood Mohammad Hassani, while levies personnel Zulfiqar Imrani and two ATF personnel Sarfaraz Ahmed and Ahmed Khan were injured who were shifted to DHQ Hospital.
