At least three people, including two children, lost their lives, and sixteen others were injured in three separate accidents in Balochistan on Monday.
According to the reports, a Zamyad truck rammed into a rickshaw near the Al-Hasan Hotel on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in the Kadkocha area of Mastung. Fifteen people, including children and women, were injured in the accident while a 12-year-old girl died.
The injured were immediately shifted to Ismail Baloch Welfare Society Rescue Centre and provided with first aid. Some of the injured were shifted to Shaheed Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in ambulances and private vehicles. After first aid, seven seriously injured were shifted to Quetta for further treatment.
According to hospital sources, the condition of five of the injured is critical.
Similarly, a young boy lost his life after being hit by a tractor in the Sanari area of Khuzdar.
On the other hand, one person was killed on the spot, and another was injured in a collision between two vehicles in the Jiwani Cross area of Balochistan’s coastal city Gwadar.
