Three children reportedly died in a mysterious explosion on Friday in Chaman, a Balochistan town bordering Afghanistan.
According to reports, three children were killed when an explosion occurred inside a house at Rehman Kahol Road in Chaman.
As per rescue officials, the blast took place in an abandoned house on Rehman Kahol Road, in which two brothers Abdul Quddus and Matiullah died on the spot, while the third child Bashir Ahmed succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to Quetta.
According to officials, further investigation into the incident is underway, while a bomb disposal squad has been called to clear the area.
However, a local journalist said that the blast occurred accidentally when the children mistook a hand grenade for a toy.
