A traffic accident has left six people dead and five injured in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Saturday. Levies sources said the traffic accident took a place in the Koraro area of Khuzdar. A truck collided with a trawler coming from the opposite side.

The injured were evacuated by the medical emergency response center. MERC provided first aid to the injured and then shifted them to Khuzdar district headquarters hospital for medical treatment.

Levies reached the spot and started an investigation into the traffic accident. Reckless driving and the narrow Quetta-Karachi highway have claimed thousands of precious human lives. Road accidents have almost become the order of the day on the road between Balochistan and Sindh.

However, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced to ensure the completion of dualization of the highway within next two years to facilitate the people and bring and end to increasing number of traffic accidents.
