Whereas, another FC official Lance Naik Qadeer was injured in a similar grenade attack in Turbat city of Kech District.

The assailants managed to escape unhurt. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a thorough check.

A “pro-independence” armed group, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed  responsibility for both the attacks. Whereas earlier that, two other armed attacks on Pakistani forces in district Awaran and Kech were also claimed by BLF.

Sodho Sindhi, the spokesperson for SRA said that their group shot killed Qayyum Ashraf, a Punjabi settler who owns a dairy shop in Noorani Basti of Korangi town. It is to mention that SRA is also an ally of Baloch “pro-independence” armed groups.
