Pakistani forces reportedly killed two persons and detained two others after a military operation in​​ Sibi district of Balochistan.

According to reports, a large number of Pakistani troops conducted an operation in Lehri area of Sibi, on Sunday. Army personnel opened fire, which resulted in killing two men, identified as Abdul Hameed and Abdul Haleem.

Two other youths named Ata and Hazaro were forcibly disappeared by the forces. The forces also took cattle and other valuables with them, local sources told The Balochistan Post.

Authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

There have been reports of military operations in different parts of Balochistan for the past several days. According to reports, two individuals killed and tow were abducted in a raid in Kohlu district on Saturday.  Deceased were identified as Jando and Wali Dad. Jando’s son – Ghulaind – was also injured in the raid. The forces then took the injured Ghulaind and his cousin into custody and moved them to an unknown location.

Balochistan’s political parties and human rights organizations are criticizing Pakistan Army and secret services for human rights violations in the region.
