Three persons including at least one woman have allegedly been disappeared by Pakistani forces in Peerandar, Awaran.
According to local TBP correspondent, Pakistani forces raided houses in Peeandar Lop in district Awaran and made multiple arrests.
The arrested include a woman identified as Gul Bahar w/o late Rasool Baksh, whereas, a man called Bahot was also taken away. The identity of the third person has not been ascertained yet.
Locals allege that the women and children were harshly treated during the raid.
Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. However, recently instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported.
International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
