The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) on Wednesday released a video showing an attack on a Pakistani military camp, which the group said took place in Kech district’s Shapuk on March 29.
The five-minute and forty-second footage, published by the group’s media wing Hakkal, shows armed fighters advancing towards a military installation from multiple directions while firing heavy and automatic weapons.
A projectile is seen being fired at a bunker positioned above the camp, followed by an explosion inside the compound. Voices speaking in Balochi can be heard during the assault.
The video also shows what appears to be return fire, including mortar fire. In the final segment, fighters are seen providing first aid to an injured member.
The attack was part of a series of operations carried out between March 29 and April 1, during which the BLA said it conducted 65 attacks across multiple districts of Balochistan.
At the time, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch claimed that more than 86 personnel of what he described as “occupying forces, death squads and intelligence agencies” were killed and dozens injured.
He said the operations targeted military camps, airbases, radar systems, communication towers, railway infrastructure and gas pipelines, and that highways were brought under control for several hours.
