On Monday, multiple incidents of violence and accidents across Balochistan resulted in six deaths and several injuries. The incidents, which took place in Panjgur, Mastung, Sibi, Killa Abdullah, Turbat, and Kalat, have raised concerns over public safety in the region.

In Panjgur’s Cheedgi area, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a young man, identified as Ahmad s/o Naseer Ahmad, killing him on the spot. The assailants, who were in a vehicle, fled immediately. Local Levies forces completed legal formalities before handing over the body to the victim’s family. The victim was a resident of Khudabadan in Panjgur, and the motive behind the attack remains unknown.

Another shooting incident occurred in Mastung’s Wali Khan police station area, where unknown assailants killed a man identified as Uzair Ahmad s/o Maulvi Siraj, a resident of Rodeni. The attackers managed to escape, and authorities have yet to determine the reasons behind the murder.

A tragic fratricide took place in Sibi’s Allahabad neighborhood near Chamra Factory, where a man allegedly shot and killed his own brother over a personal dispute. According to police and Edhi sources, the victim’s body was transported to Sibi Civil Hospital for legal procedures. Police have launched a search for the suspect, while locals expressed deep concern over the incident and called for stricter measures to curb violent crimes.

Two separate shootings in Killa Abdullah claimed two more lives. The first incident occurred in Jungle Pir Alizai, where a man named Kamran fatally shot another man named Muhammad Ibrahim. The second took place in Killi Lajour, Gulistan, where a man identified as Akmal s/o Shaista Khan was gunned down. The suspects in both cases fled the scene, and investigations are underway.

Meanwhile, a traffic accident in Turbat resulted in one death and one injury. A motorcycle carrying two individuals collided with another vehicle, killing Shabbir Ahmad s/o Natho Khan, a resident of Karachi’s Ilyas Goth, and injuring a man named Aqeel s/o Jamil Ahmad, also from Karachi. The injured man is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

In another road accident near Kalat’s Bencha area, three vehicles collided on the main highway, leaving three people injured. Two of the victims were transferred to Quetta for further medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
