Two brothers have been forcibly disappeared, allegedly by Pakistani forces, from the Panjgur district of Balochistan.

According to reports, the two brothers, identified as Sabir Noor, son of Noor Mohammad, and Abid Noor, son of Noor Mohammad, were detained by Pakistani forces from the Chitkan Tar office this morning. Their whereabouts remain unknown since the incident.

Following the disappearance, the family of the missing brothers blocked the CPEC highway near Panjgur in protest, demanding their safe recovery. Government officials or local authorities have yet to confirm or deny the allegations.

It is worth noting that enforced disappearances are a common occurrence in Balochistan. More than 55,000 people are reportedly missing from various areas of the region. Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and political and social activists allege that Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies are responsible for these enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
