A young Baloch man reportedly went ‘missing’ from Turbat city of Kech district on Friday.
According to reports, Pakistani forces raided a house in the Aapsar area of the city and forcibly arrested a young man named Hayat Baloch son of Jumma Khan, a graduate of the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water, and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) in Uthal.
It is pertinent to mention that forced disappearances have become a serious situation in Balochistan. People in Balochistan have been constantly in protest for more than a decade. However, on the other side Pakistani forces forcibly arrest people daily.
Pakistani forces have repeatedly detained several people in the last 2 days from Gwadar and Awaran districts. Out of which Seven victims have been identified as Jawed s/o Muhammad Qasim, Qambar s/o Murad, Sameer s/o Hamza, Bilal s/o Raza, Dur Muhammad s/o Kareem Baksh, Ameer s/o Aslam and Aman s/o Jamadar.
