The deceased was identified as Ali Hassan Mohammad Hasni, the President of the Jhalawan vegetable market and a well-known businessman in the area. His family and other traders staged a protest on the Khuzdar-Karachi Highway near Sunni, demanding the arrest of the culprits and the protection of the people of Khuzdar.

The traders and social elders expressed their grief and anger over the killing of Ali Hassan, saying that the robbers had crossed all limits by murdering him. They blamed the police and the district administration for failing to ensure the security of the lives and property of the people of Khuzdar.

The Khuzdar police have registered a case and launched an investigation to nab the robbers.
