A 24-year-old Baloch youth has been arrested and shifted to undisclosed location allegedly by Pakistani forces from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.

According to reports, Pakistani forces detained Akhtar son of Shamsullah, a resident of Killi Goraabad Mastung Road Quetta, on February 2 and subsequently shifted him to an undisclosed location.

Its wort mentioning that cases of forced disappearances of Baloch political activists and students are being reported on a daily basis from Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan. Baloch political parties and human rights organizations accuse Pakistani intelligence agencies and forces of these enforced disappearances and demand their recovery. However, the government officials and military authorities either don’t comment or reject these allegations.
