Police have reported the recovery of five technicians from Punjab, who were abducted last month in Balochistan’s Kech district, while on a mission to install a Ufone telecom tower.

The technicians, identified as Nazir Ahmad, Muhammad Tariq, Safdar Ali, Farooq, and Hasnain, were abducted by unknown armed assailants on January 24th near Dandar, sub-tehsil Hoshap, as they traveled to the Awaran district of Balochistan for an installation project.

Although the police confirmed their recovery on Friday, details about the circumstances of their release or the identities of the kidnappers remain undisclosed. Rehan, a relative of the victims, has informed a news outlet in the Kech district that the families have yet to receive official confirmation of their recovery.
