The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a ‘pro-independence’ armed group, has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani forces in the Zamuran area of Balochistan.

In a media statement, the spokesperson for the BLA, Jeeyand Baloch, stated that BLA fighters targeted a post of the Pakistani forces with rockets and heavy weapons on Wednesday. He claimed that the attack resulted in the deaths of at least three Pakistani soldiers and inflicted injuries on three others.

In the statement, the BLA reiterated its objective to continue its attacks until the withdrawal of what they refer to as the “Pakistani occupying forces” from Balochistan.
