Unknown armed men reportedly raided the house of Tahira Baloch, the wife of Baloch writer Zulfikar Ali Zulfi, in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan, and searched the rooms, leaving the family members under severe stress.

According to Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, some “unknown” persons dressed in plain clothes jumped over the wall and forced their way into my wife Tahira Baloch’s house in Quetta at around 3 to 3:30 in the morning.

According to Zulfi, the occupants of the house were woken up from their sleep and asked various questions — When the intruders were asked who they were, they said in a threatening tone: “Don’t go too deep, this is better for you people.”

Zulfi expressing concerns said that Tahira Baloch is a well known TV anchor and social media activist — “if this can happen to her in a densely populated area of ​​a busy city then what will be the situation in rural areas?”
