A man has tragically taken his own life in Balochistan’s capital city of Quetta.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Iqbal, son of Hassan Shah, and he was a resident of Peer Mohammad Road.

The body has been transported to Civil Hospital Quetta. Sources have indicated that the deceased used to sell food from a handcart, and the primary reason behind his suicide is believed to be poverty.

It is noteworthy that incidents of suicide have been increasingly reported throughout Balochistan on a regular basis. This marks the seventh such incident in the past three weeks. Previously, The Balochistan Post has received reports of suicides in Gwadar, Khuzdar, Awaran, Hub Chowki, and Quetta districts.
