Two Baloch prisoners have been reportedly hanged in Wakeelabad. Reports from the State of Mashhad indicate that these two individuals were executed based on orders from the revolutionary court.

The victims have been identified as Ahmed Karimdadzai s/oAbdullah, a 35-years-old, resident of Tajirabad, Mashhad; and Hameed Garkhail s/o Majeed, a 34-years-old resident of Zabul.

Sources state that both victims were arrested two years ago on charges related to drug dealing. They were subsequently sentenced to death by Iran’s revolutionary court after a controversial trial.

Furthermore, sources claim that the families of both prisoners were not informed about the sentencing. Despite the anticipation for an end to this harsh punitive approach, there appears to be a significant rise in the utilization of this execution method.
