In a series of incidents across Balochistan, six individuals lost their lives while another seventeen sustained injuries, owing to road accidents and shootings.

Near Khuzdar on the M8 highway,, a passenger wagon lost control and hit three men – Muhammad Nawaz, Hafiz Nazir, and Maula bakhsh – standing by the road on their motorcycles. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, while ten passengers from the wagon sustained injuries.

In Hub Chowki district’s Tehsil Winder, a collision between a car and a trailer on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway resulted in the death of Saddam Deen. Additionally, Shaukat Ali and Amanullah suffered injuries and were subsequently moved to Karachi for specialized medical care.

Pasni witnessed a fatal collision between a dumper truck and a motorcycle, killing the rider, Anwar, son of Musa, instantly. Another individual, Noor Muhammad, was critically injured in the incident.

Separately, shootings added to the toll. In Jacobabad’s village of Gul Pasand Banglani, a young man named Gulab Banglani, aged 30, was fatally shot by unidentified assailants. The motive remains unclear, but preliminary investigations suggest personal animosity might be at play.

In a separate incident near the Hub Chowki Height police station, a minor dispute escalated into a shootout, injuring four men: Iqbal, Noor Muhammad, Amanullah, and Naik Muhammad. They are currently receiving medical treatment in Hub’s Civil Hospital, with police investigations ongoing.
