A large-scale military operation is underway in Awaran, while four people were reportedly forcibly disappeared allegedly by the Pakistani forces from Awaran and Kech districts of Balochistan.

According to reports, Pakistani forces arrested three people in a raid in the Labach Ziyarat Dan area of Awaran on Friday. Earlier this morning, Pakistani forces cordoned off the Peerandar area of Awaran and launched a military operation.

According to the last reports, forces are present in large numbers in the area, while house-to-house searches are underway. However, there were no arrests or fatalities have been reported in today’s operation so far.

Those who went missing from Awaran on Friday have been identified as Kamash Deenar, Zabad son of Sakhi Dad, and Dad Bakhsh S/O Ali Mohammad.

Sources said that the missing are residents of Draskey, who were forced to migrate from their native area by the Pakistani military forces.

The ongoing military operation has not been confirmed or denied by government officials yet.

It may be recalled that the missing Kamash Deenar was earlier arrested along with his two sons, Mohammad Ali, and Wahid, during a raid in the Teertej area of Awaran back on February 11, 2020.

The dead body of Naseer son of Bayan, who belongs to the same family, was also recovered from the mass graves of Tootak in the year 2014. Naseer was reportedly abducted by Pakistani intelligence agencies in 2013.

Meanwhile, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organization working for the recovery of “missing” Balochs, said that Azam son of Allah Dad, a resident of Awaran, went missing after being illegally detained by Pakistani forces from Quetta.
