The accused fled after killing his niece and a man in the name of “honour” in the Dera Murad Jamali area of Naseerabad district on Sunday.
According to reports, the Uncle shot dead his niece Sajan Bibi and a man named Gulzar Ahmed near Ward No. 1, on Mir Hassan Road of Dera Murad Jamali, and escaped from the scene.
Sources said that it was an incident of “honour” killing, resulting in the death of two persons.
The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital. Police filed a report and began an investigation into the incident.
Aurat Foundation, a non-government organization working for women’s rights, says that every year, a large number of women are killed in the name of so-called honour in Balochistan.
