Six incidents of enforced disappearances have been reported from Balochistan in the last 24 hours.

A teenager boy among two “forcibly disappeared” from the Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Friday night.

According to reports, two men, Afzal son of Abbas, and Noor Khan son of Ali were reportedly abducted from Girisha area of Khuzdar.

Missing persons from Khuzdar

As per sources, the aforementioned men were picked up by government-backed militia from their homes on Friday night. Their whereabouts remain unknown since.

It should be noted, the Pakistani army and intelligence agencies are accused of forming several armed groups across Balochistan, commonly known as “death squads.” Locals and nationalist groups allege the “death squads” for the assassination of political activists, forced disappearances, kidnapping for ransom, and drug trafficking.

From the Mangochar area of Kalat, a man named Abdul Rasheed son of Mir Ahmed was reportedly abducted when he was working at his shop.
