The Pakistan Army reportedly launched a military operation in the Kohlu district of Balochistan, on Saturday.
According to reports, the Pakistan Army started a ground and air military operation in the Kahan area of Kohlu, on early Saturday morning.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that drones were seen in the area and three loud explosions were also heard — soon after that eight gunship helicopters reached the spot.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing for Pakistani armed forces confirmed the operation in a press release, later today saying that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO). “The security forces undertook a clearance operation and killed nine terrorists after a heavy exchange of fire and three others were also arrested in injured condition,” the ISPR said.
ISPR further added that security forces were chasing them since the September 30 blast in Kohlu Bazar.
